About the Karavan

Karavan helps merchants sell confidently to Eastern Europe and Central Asia by showing duty estimates and delivery times at checkout. This app addresses a common problem: buyers from Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Armenia, Georgia, Azerbaijan, and Kyrgyzstan often abandon carts because they don't know about customs fees or shipping timelines. The checkout helper adds a guidance block that displays country-specific duty and customs estimates along with delivery time estimates before payment. Sanctioned regions including Russia and Belarus are blocked by default for compliance. Merchants can customize duty copy and shipping rates for each destination country. The guided setup works with Shopify Markets and includes built-in compliance checks, taking under 10 minutes to complete.
