About the CompliEdge: DPDP Compliance

CompliEdge helps Indian Shopify merchants comply with the DPDP Act, 2023. The app captures shopper consent with timestamp, IP, and device logs automatically synced to metafields. It adds a Privacy Centre where customers can view their consents, update preferences, and raise Data Subject Requests. DSRs are processed with one-click approval—the app exports customer data, deletes their account, and sends email confirmation. The Breach Toolkit logs data breaches and starts a 72-hour countdown to notify the Data Protection Board and affected customers via SendGrid. All compliance events are logged with CSV export, analytics, and Shopify Flow triggers for consent, DSR, and breach actions.
