CostLedger tracks your true cost of goods sold with a complete purchase order history that Shopify's single-value system can't provide. When supplier prices change, you won't lose your cost history. The app maintains a time-stamped ledger for every batch, calculating moving-average costs per variant with transparent math shown at every step.
Margin reports value each sale at the actual cost basis from its sale date, so you see what each unit really cost when it sold. Get 30 and 60 day margin reports that reflect true profitability. Margin-squeeze alerts notify you by email or Slack when new batches cost more than previous ones.
