Products imported through CSV, migration, or API arrive without categories—Shopify only suggests categories when you create products manually. Catalog Butler solves this by reading your entire catalog and proposing the correct category for every product from Shopify's official taxonomy. You'll see all proposed changes before anything is written, apply them in bulk across 1,000 to 50,000 products in one pass, and undo everything with a single click if needed. The app also fills brand, product type, tags, search text, and photo alt text—but only where fields are empty. A short doubts queue lets you review products the AI wasn't certain about. Feed apps read these categories but never fill them, so fix it once and every product feed inherits the correct data.
