ShopGears helps you create real breadcrumb navigation from your own category tree, improving both user experience and SEO. Since Shopify collections exist in a flat structure, standard breadcrumbs only show Home > Collection > Product. This app lets you build a proper multi-level category tree up to ten levels deep using simple drag and drop.
Once your category tree is arranged, the app automatically displays breadcrumbs on every page that reflect the actual hierarchy. You also get subcategory grids under each collection, making navigation easier for shoppers. Choose from ten different breadcrumb styles with live preview, and set separate behaviors for desktop and mobile devices.
The app includes JSON-LD structured data so Google can display your breadcrumb path in search results. Breadcrumbs can either follow your catalogue structure or track the shopper's own browsing route through your store. No coding required and no theme edits needed to get started.
