About the CheckMate Terms and Conditions
CheckMate helps merchants stay legally compliant by adding terms and conditions checkboxes and age verification to their Shopify store. The app protects three key areas: cart page (theme block), cart drawer (app embed), and checkout (Shopify Plus only with server-side validation). Setup takes just 1 minute with no coding required - simply enable each component in the theme editor. Features include configurable age verification popups with session memory, blocking express checkout buttons until customers accept terms, product-specific and collection-based compliance rules, and multiple custom checkboxes. The app logs all timestamped acceptance data for compliance records and provides an analytics dashboard showing acceptance rates with CSV and JSON export options.
