About the Checkout Rescue: Script Fix

Shopify is removing the Additional Scripts box and order status page script tags from non-Plus stores on August 26, 2026. Checkout Rescue scans your store to show exactly which scripts will break and generates the web pixel code to replace them. The app automatically installs pixels after purchase, covering Google Ads, Meta Pixel, GA4, TikTok, Pinterest, Snapchat, Bing UET, affiliate postbacks, and post-purchase surveys. It scans installed script tags via the Shopify API, classifies pasted scripts into 16 tracking patterns, and provides a clear fix path for scripts needing alternative solutions.
