About the AgeProof: Age Verification

AgeProof provides unbypassable age verification for Shopify stores selling age-restricted products like vape, alcohol, CBD, and kratom. Unlike basic popups that shoppers can skip with direct checkout links, this app adds a real storefront age gate and server-side checkout block that can't be bypassed. The app logs every age check in a tamper-evident compliance record, exportable to CSV for your records. You can gate your entire store or only specific products that need age verification, and set different minimum age requirements by country. The system records only the derived age and verification outcome—never storing personal information like names, emails, or birth dates. Installation is simple with a theme app embed that doesn't edit your theme code.
