EU Food Info Guard helps online food merchants meet EU Regulation 1169/2011 and UK PPDS requirements by displaying allergen, nutrition, and origin information before purchase—not just on delivery. The app automatically detects all 14 EU Annex II allergens from your ingredient text and flags when an allergen appears in ingredients but is missing from your declared list. It separates pre-purchase facts from delivery-only notes to support distance-selling compliance. Integration is simple: the app syncs data to your storefront theme block via an app-owned metafield without template edits. Weekly scheduled completeness reviews, CSV import/export, and a full audit trail help you track every change. Note: This tool organizes your merchant data but does not determine legal compliance.
