About the Fundcap

Fundcap lets you run Kickstarter-style crowdfunding campaigns directly on your Shopify store. Create all-or-nothing product campaigns with funding goals based on units sold or revenue targets, plus set a deadline for backers to support your launch. Customers are charged at checkout like regular orders. When you hit your goal, production is funded and orders are already yours. If the campaign falls short, one-click bulk refunds return money to every backer automatically—no manual processing needed. Set an optional maximum cap to control how many units you sell, ensuring you never take more orders than you can fulfill. The storefront widget displays live campaign progress with a progress bar, percent funded, backer count, and countdown timer in four customizable styles. All backer orders are automatically tagged for easy tracking, and you can export your complete backer list as a CSV file. The refund system is batched, resumable, and prevents double-charging, making campaign management simple and reliable.
